General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* The brown vaginal spotting is not associated with birth control pills, the cause of such issue sound to be vaginal infection either secondary to sexual intercourse or a sequence of urinary tract infection most likely.

* Kindly allow her following for

- intake of more liquids
- strict vaginal hygiene care
- extra precautions in the menses period for regular changes of tampons
- avoid sexual intercourse if active at present
- prescription of necessary antibiotic and antifungal medications for best recovery at earliest.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
