What Causes Brown Vaginal Discharge While On Nexplanon?

I am on Nexaplanon, i have brown discharge and after intercourse I either bleed like I am on my period or have dark discharge for days after, is this normal? I have been on it for about a year and a half and have irregular periods. I practice safe sex and use condoms as well, so I do not believe there is any chance of pregnancy. However, my breasts have been tender since engaging in intercourse, which we have been having about 4 times a week all within a short span of time, should i be concerned abojt yhe nexaplanon?

Hi I think there is very little chance of pregnancy if you are on nexplanon. It can be due to some vaginal infection also. Get a pelvic examination done by a gynecologist to rule out any cervical pathology or infections. You may need some antibiotic and antifungal drugs orally as well as vaginal to treat that. Hope it helps.
