What Causes Brown Spots On The Palms?
Good day. I noticed tiny brown spots on the palm of my hands and I went to see a dermatologist today. He asked me to do a vdrl test and my blood was drawn for that today. I got home and searched the internet on vdrl and I realised it was a test for Syphilis. I am terribly scared. I have never had sexual intercourse but I have done almost everything in between. I have been smooched and the likes. I don t want to have an STD, what do you advice? Thanks.

VDRL is not a specific test. Positive VDRL might be false. So, it is not significant. Brown spots on the palm may be nonspecific. If you suffer from itching or pain,then you may consult the competent dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis.
