What Causes Brown Colored Vomit And Constipation In An Autistic Patient?

My brother is 27 and autistic. Does not have any medical issues but is non verbal. He has had one bowel movement within the last 5 day, vomiting for the last two days and the vomit is a brownish color, with lots of phlegm like liquid and no smell. Currently can t even tolerate seltzer water, no behavioral changes or signs of pain or distress. Also vomit comes out of nose and mouth simultaneously. Thank you.

Hi. Thanks for posting your query on HCM.
From these symptoms, it appears that your brother may be suffering from intestinal obstruction even if there is no pain. You should get his X-ray abdomen and Ultrasonography of abdomen done to rule out intestinal obstruction and consult some physician or gastroenterology specialist.
