What Causes Brown-colored Saliva?
Hi. I ve noticed that when I wake up, and also when i m sleeping, that saliva has gathered in my mouth. This will result in me spitting when i wake up at night and also when i get up in the morning. The saliva is of a brownish colour which i m certain is not blood as I can not taste blood. Can you please clarify why this occurs and how to prevent it?

The brown-colored saliva may be due to GERD so you should see a gastroenterologist or it may be due to the problem with gums so a dentist's opinion will also be helpful.
