What Causes Breathlessness While Having Ischemic Cardiomyopathy?

Hi sir my father was suffered with ischemic cardiomyopathy from three years and recently he was effected sudden short breath problem then he was admitted into the ICU in a hospital but he was died in one hour after admitting in hospital....what is the reason about that death?? Is it with doctor s negligency or with ischemic cardiomiopathy.........please give correct explanation please...thanks

Hi,

Ischemic cardiomyopathy may cause refractory heart failure. Such cases can have acute on chronic heart failure leading to acute breathlessness and fatality. Ventricular tachyarrhythmias can also occur in ischemic cardiomyopathy leading to sudden death.
