Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My husband has been having trouble breathing for the past 4 months. It comes and goes randomly but after the breathing episode ends, he gets congested where he can’t breathe through his nose. He has been cleared by a cardiologist and a pulmonary physician. We are at our wits ends to what can be causing this.
You say breathing problem and congestion and not able to breathe through the nose. I would like to know if he has pursed lip breathing or not. Because this is the common sign of COPD and use of accessory muscles happens.
We need to examine him in detail to find out what is pathological in him. So with this online consultation it is impossible for us to treat him to the best. As you even say other doctors have said he is normal, it could even mean that the pathological process is still happening.
It might not be surfaced but in later dates, it might be noticed. So, you need to be patient with that. All doctors are not god and can find everything. so understanding all this you need to bear with it for few days and go to a consultation with the good doctor again.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Archana
