What Causes Breathing Difficulty, Elevated Heart Rate And Fatigue When Diagnosed With Bronchitis?

For the pasy several months I have been short of breath and my heart rate goes up with the least bit of exercise. I am very fatigued and get very weak feeling. I use a CPAP nightly. I have a CRTD and it has been checked. I have had ultra sound of my heart and stress test, all negative. I have had breathing test, CAT scan of my lungs with contrast, again no findings. I was diagnosed with bronchitis 3 weeks ago and took antibiotics for 10 days with not much improvement in breathing, however they say my lungs are clear. What else should be checked?

Hello,

Consult a physician and get evaluated. A detailed evaluation is required to find out the exact cause. You have to get serial ECG recording for further assessment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
