What Causes Breathing Difficulty After A Sore Throat Infection?

I have been sick for 8 days im counting now and its been really rough. Well it started with a sore throat and then I lost my voice and coughing up mucus and today I had trouble breathing which scares me very badly do you have any idea whats wrong with me?

I can understand your concern.
In my opinion, you are mostly having post infectious bronchitis.
It is common after viral upper respiratory tract infection (URTI).
It is caused by inflammation of airways. This can cause coughing with mucus expectoration and breathlessness.
You need inhaled bronchodilators and inhaled corticosteroid (ICS).
Antihistamine and anti inflammatory drugs are also helpful.
