What Causes Breathing Difficulties In A Child?

My 5 year old daughter woke up with trouble breathing. She was coughing to get her breath. She does not have a fever and she says that nothing hurts that it s just hard to breathe. After having her upright for a bit she s breathing easier but still sounds like a snore on every breath.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, allergic condition is very likely and it can be given try with Levocetirizine, most of the time symptoms are self limiting if this is not the infection, you can even try pure honey prior to bed be patience it will be fine, hope this information helps.
