I had a bad fall & had a stress fracture in the 5th metatarsal bone. My foo blew up immediately, but the xray didn t show, so they reccomended a bone scan, which found it. I wore ahard sole sandal for 6 wks. now I had an MRI done, which says I havebone marrow edema in multiple bones (6) of the ankle/foot.It saysuncertain ediology, but can be seen in patients with complex regionl painsyndrome/reflex sympathetic dystrophy. Correlations withclinical findings is suggested. The podiatrist said I should go o a Neurologist & start immediately on anti-seizure meds. He said to look up RSD on the computor, & he was done. I am so scared I don t know what s going on. Can you give me any insight on this. I am a 66 yr. old female. Thank you
