I ve had this boil on my arm my entire life and it s filled with this orange looking liquid and every couple of years it turns black or dark purple and the top layer cracks and bleeds and eventually it would go away but come back a couple weeks later but this time it s getting larger
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of boil on arms which occur because skin has increased sensitivity of getting pigmented and it is due to abundance of sebaceous glands in these areas. It could be due to hair follicle and bacterial infection as well. Need not to worry. Maintain complete hygiene of that area. I would suggest you to wash these areas daily with lukewarm water and body wash containing salicylic acid twice a day and apply cream containing azelaic acid which is good for pimples. Take diet rich in multivitamins. Apply topical antibacterial ointment. If condition doesn't get well in a week then consult dermatologist for proper examination and treatment . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics like minocycline, steroid ointment and may recommend chemical peeling for marks.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
