What Causes Body Tremors After Discontinuing Atenolol?
My doctor recommended I slowly eliminate my usual dose of Atenolol, which I did and have not taken any for several days now. Today, I am having shaky hands and my entire body feels shaky . Is this a consequence of not taking the medication? Should I take a half dose?

No, it is not the symptoms caused by not taking the Atenolol, if you have stop taking the Atenolol so first thing is to check the blood pressure. If the medicine is prescribed for hypertension than it should not be stopped but it can be replaced with other drug having the same indication or works for high blood pressure. Else the symptoms of shaky hand or body shaking are not due to not taking the Atenolol.
