What Causes Body Pain And Sneezing Along With Coughing?

Hello. I have severe cold symptoms since yesterday : body aches, sneezing coughing, tired, no energy (no fever). My pharmacist suggested Aleve with an antihistamine yesterday. I am prone to bronchitis and asthmatic bronchitis. Have had it twice already this winter. My situation: we are going away for 3 days on Tuesday. Tomorrow being a national holiday, my Doctor s office is closed. While not recommended I know, but could I take Penicillin VK 500 mg for tonight and tomorrow and try to see my Doctor Tuesday morning before I leave town?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It is all part of local infection.

You can take drugs like acetaminophen for symptomatic relief.

If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.

In that case you might require antibiotics.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
