What Causes Body Ache While On Fosamax?
I took one tablet and I developed a severe pain in my body. I had this body pain for about 3 days and I stopped using it. Can you please advice me whether I should continue this or stop this. I did a bone test and then only my doctor described Fosamax 70 mg once a week. I am waiting for your reply.

Musculoskeletal pain is a very common side effect of Fosamax especially while taking weekly doses.
You can try taking Fosamax daily doses at lowest dose (ie, 5mg daily). Daily doses have shown a lesser incidence of musculoskeletal pain. If 5 mg/day is not restoring bone density then dose can be increased to 10 md/day.
