What Causes Blurred Vision, shortness Of Breath And Dizziness?
Yesterday my 49 yo husband broke out in an intense sweat, experienced blurred vision, shortness of breath and dizziness. We were up north in Sacramento area where is was at least 100 degree weather also. It was a spell that lasted approximately 15-20 minutes. We went inside the house and through tepid water on his face and head...cooled him down and then sat down. He felt cold after that but that too subsided. after it passed he felt lethargic for a little while.
The condition of blurred vision, short breath and dizziness after exposure to extreme heat indicate heat stroke most likely (non-exertional) with immediate systemic response of the body. Guidelines for better recovery: - Plenty of liquids in sessions including lemon juice, coconut water - Control of blood sugar, blood pressure parameters - Maintain room temperature with air conditioner of 22 degree or lower - Avoid future exposure to extreme heat without adequate hydration
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
