Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have periodic episodes of eye tracking incorrectly. See double and vision blurred; therefore, am afraid to drive. Have appointment being set up through my optometrist with a neuroophthamologist. He stated that he believes this may be myasthenia gravis. If this is the case, how will I know I can drive? I am very independent, but a bit frightened.
Hello, If they think you have myasthenia gravis you need to see a neurologist to confirm the diagnosis and get you appropriate treatment. The neurologist can assure you when you are on adequate treatment about your ability to drive. Regards
