What Causes Blurred Vision, Headache And Metallic Taste In The Mouth?

I experienced twice this week, squiggly vision going to tunnel vision resulting in a headache along with metal taste in mouth. I am 61, female, non smoker, somewhat overweight. I thought the tunnel vision may have been triggered by the light coming through my office window, glaring off the glass desk and computer monitor.

Hello,

I read your message carefully and understand your medical issue.

You are reporting to:

- be a 61 years old women,
- overweight
- symptoms: blurred vision followed by a headache and metallic taste.

I would like to know more regarding your health status:
- any other medical problem or disease?
- any drug taken on regular basis?
- do you have your meals regularly? bad diet habits?

Blurred vision, metallic taste, and headache can be present in various health problems including those related to the eyes like strain, diabetic retinopathy, refraction abnormalities and other health problems.

As the episode repeated twice this week, I advice you to see your doctor and get your eye examined by eye specialist. Blood tests and a complete cardiac check up is also recommended.

Staying in front of the computer for long time can also cause such problems. Get some eye exercise if your work requires staring at computer: get frequent breaks and look in far away distance.

Hope this helped.
