What Causes Blurred Vision, Dizziness And Shortness Of Breath?

My daughter cannot remember one day to another. She sees blurry, has short term out of breath, pain in her chest, dizzy. Was at the emergency had blood work and ECG. All normal. What coud it be? She has been like this since May 10th. What do I do? Her appetite is good. She is on prozac for anxiety/depression, vyvanse and tri-cyclen. Getting worried. She also was checked for a head concontion when she had a fall at 5-6 years old. Had a cat scan and everything was normal. She is also shaking.

Psychiatrist 's  Response
hello there, I can understand your concern about your daughter and you have already done multiple investigations for her. At present it looks like definitely anxiety disorder with panic attacks. Prozac is not considered ideal drug for anxiety and panic disorder as it itself can cause some anxiety in the person. There are other better options available like sertraline or paroxetine. Clonazepam can be tried during acute panic attack. So I suggest you to consult your psychiatrist and get an opinion on this. All the best
