What Causes Blurred Vision And Large Bruise On The Ankle?

My 79 year old mother has what looks like a large bruise just above her ankle on the inside of her leg. This is the second time this has happened. She does not live with me so all I have is a slightly blurred picture that she texted me with. She said that it s swollen and is painful to the touch. Sort of like a burning pain. She has not had any recent injuries or falls that might suggest a bruise. Any idea what this could be? Thank you, Diana

it can be injury not noticed. or scratch unintentional. exclude diabetes can be bruise i called by tight shocks or shoe inany case apply antiseptic like beta din lotion should have given other relevant symptoms like itching
