What Causes Blurred Vision After Having Blood Drawn For Test?
My mother just told me (81 yrs) that she went through a cross walk. She didnt see the guard until she was almost through it but what also scared me was she said she could not see anything beyond him...no houses, streets etc. It was all black for about 1 second. She didnt remember having any other symptoms. She had just come from the doctors & had blood drawn. Any ideas?

That might be just a syncope post blood collection. She should have waited for half an HR before getting up. Give her a cup of strong coffee. If a problem recurs, get her blood pressure and sugar checked and consult a doctor.
