General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Thank you for trusting HealthcareMagic for your health concern

Head trauma in a young child requires medical attention, especially since he mentioned about certain symptoms following head trauma. Complete physical examination, neurological examination and brain imaging (if indicated as per the physical examination) are needed at this point. Moreover, he has to be observed for any signs of internal bleeding like vomiting, drowsiness, irritability, excitement, loss of consciousness etc. In next 24 hours. So please be advised to take him to the emergency room.

Dr.Lekshmi
