What Causes Blue And Black Track On Mouth Roof In An Infant?

My baby of 11 months has a black and blue train track appearing line on the roof of her mouth. She has a large separation between her front teeth and the pediatrician has mentioned the possibility of a frenulectomy. The discoloration appears to be more on one side of the roof. She is eating well and when I tried to touch the area she did not complain. Looks scary?!

Hi...the discoloration may be a congenital mole too. if the baby is not having any difficulty because of it, I don't think you should worry about it. But regarding frenulectomy I suggest you go by the advise of the doctor who has examined the kid in person and given his opinion.
