What Causes Bloody Stools?

I ve been on cipralex for a month now....The past 2 days i have noticed blood in my stool.Sometimes i will get the urge to go to the bathroom and only end up passing blood instead.it s not an overwhelming amount but its enough to give me concern.I see my doctor in a few days,should I look into getting a doctors opinion sooner then that?
