What Causes Bloody Mucus In Periods?
I m supposed to be having my period but instead of blood I have had a occasional bloody mucus and usually when I wipe. I m 42 and currently on the pill so pregnancy is a huge concern but I know I took my pills correctly. Just curious on what this may be.

Chances of uterine infection need to be ruled out, else this could be retained uterine blood, in my opinion ultrasonography is the only way to clear certain doubts, hope this information helps, have a nice day.
