What Causes Blood When Urinated In Pregnant Women?
Yes sir, my girlfriend took a pregnancy test this morning and it came back positive. She just called me from work and said when she went to go and use the bathroom that a little bit of blood came out when she urinated. What would be the cause of this and what should she do?

This may represent a threatened miscarriage or a bleeding from her urinary tract which usually occurs with stones. She should go & see a doctor. She needs two tests at least these are ultrasound pelvis & a urine DR test.
She should avoid exertion & take folic acid supplements.
