What Causes Blood In Urine?

Hi my name is amber . I went to my family doctor yesterday because I ve been peeing blood for the past 2 days . he put me on some antibiotics. But this afternoon when I got off work I took a nap before I went to pick up my kids I woke up feeling more tired then I did when I feel asleep . I ve had a headache that will come and go like every 5 minutes . I haunt started my antibiotics yet since I just got them today . im just wandering. If there is more wrong then what im being treated for im not sure if the Iain I have in my left side would have anything to do with me peeing blood

Hello,

The blood in urine that you are experiencing may be related to a urine tract infection. You may need to do a urine analysis and uroculture to check for infection.

Also, do an ultrasound to check for possible stones. Doing an uroculture will show the type of infection you are having and antibiogram will show which antibiotic can be used best.
