What Causes Blood In Urine?

I have blood in my urine. I had 1 episode about 11:00 when I felt the urge. I went in and pee d, but it was like a bottle uncorking with pressure behind it, and there was blood in it. From 11-2 I kept having the urge, but when I would try, nothing but a drop or 2 of blood would come out. 2 minutes after the last episode, I felt like I needed to go again, and I did, but it had a lot of blood in it, and it was the pressure thing again. I have no history of anything wrong w/ my digestive tract.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Presence of blood in urine suggest urinary tract infection or presence of stone in bladder opening. Consult your urologist and o investigations like X-ray of the abdomen, USG and urine R/E and C/S. Blood in urine is not related to digestive tract.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Vidya K. R., General & Family Physician
