What Causes Blood In Urine And Hematuria In A Teenager?
My 17 year old son has been having hematuria since the beginning of last school year and the last school year. took him to a PediUrologist. they have done all the ultrasounds , labs (urine cultures , red blood cells test, 24 hr urine) all come back neg. son has seen blood in stream and in toliet.. dr. put him on 3 months on anti botic and flomax.. now , recently done another procedure bladder looked great no red spots on bladder... But, now..prostate was imflammed..dr. did biospy...what as happened to my son..hes never had a UTI

Well,he may have enlarged prostate that causes recurrent uti or blood in urine. This is not typical for his age but it is seen and it should be treated with medicines that reduce prostate size.
