What Causes Blood In Stool After Taking Ayurvedic Medication For Osteoarthritis?

My mother has developed osteoarthritis recently. I took her to an Ayurvedic doc, & he gave medicines for 15 days. Just 3 days after taking the medicines regularly, my mother got good visible amount of fresh red blood in stools. Twice a day it happened. She stopped the intake of medicine immediately. The next day, no blood was observed in stools. On the 3rd day, again visible red blood was seen in stools much lesser in amount than the 1st day. I m very much worried. Kindly, let me know the reason & suggestion for this. Thank u.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, such blood stain stool may be due to gastritis if this was the pre-existing condition of gastric ulcer then such blood stain stool is very likely, of course there are other differential diagnosis and that need to be taken into consideration, hope this information helps, take care.
