What Causes Blood In Semen Post Treatment For Erupted Veins In Esophagus?

I was in the hospital last week, I vomited blood and was diagnosed and treated for erupted veins in my esophagus and released from the hospital after 5 days. I had some residual blood in my stool for a couple days but has since returned to normal color in my stool. A week has passed since my release and I have twice noticed blood in my semen , so could this be from my previous incident or is it something else ? I am diabetic II and I have had some ED for quite some time now .

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The blood in the semen is not likely related to the blood in the esophagus unless the blood in the esophagus was due to a bleeding disorder.

If you have a bleeding disorder or are on anti clotting medication then they are likely as a result of this issue.

Blood in the semen can also be due to trauma or infection of the genital organs.
It would be best to see your doctor for an assessment.

I hope this helps
