What Causes Blood Discharge In The Urine?

I had blood in my ursine with clots and I was sent to an ultrasound because the urine culture became negative. They are trying to rule out renal stones. The blood has disappeared since yesterday. I m a very nervous person and I m really scared to pain. What can I do while I get the ultrasound? I have been drinking lots of liquids, some pain on the back and discomfort in the lower abdomen.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello
I have gone through your question and understand your concern. If the test results for ultrasound abdomen and pelvis shows a renal stone or any other renal pathology there is absolutely nothing to worry about, doctors will decide the treatment based on cause for the blood in urine and almost all the causes are treatable. Thanks to the advancement in medical sciences keyhole surgery or a laser surgery made most of the surgical procedures virtually painless.
Once the diagnosis for the cause of bleeding is made the doctor will discuss the possible approaches to the problem, treatment is selected based on patient condition and suitability at that point you may inform your doctor about your concerns. As of now the most important concern is the cause, the early the treatment is initiated the easier and better. Drinking lots of liquid is good and other symptoms can be taken care of once the test results are known.
Hope your concern is answered. Thank you.
