What Causes Blood Clot In Saliva?

I saw blood in saliva about one month ago. I had cental up abdomial pains and left abdomial pains. I went to hosipital and the doctor said they caused by GRED and costipation. I take the miralax and omeprazole. I start to have pain around neck. Besides that, I saw blood clot in saliva now and the diameter of the clot is about 2mm. What is the reason?

Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
The clot in the saliva can be because of the gum infection. Because in gum infection there will be bleeding from the gums. The other possible cause can be a GERD. Nothing to be panic, consult a good oral physician and gastroenterologist and get it evaluated. If it is a gum infection, you need to get the teeth cleaned. Do saline gargling.
I hope I have answered your query, take care.
