Hi..
Can understand your concern..

As per your query since you have a broken filling on right side but clogged ear is on left side it clearly indicates that the clogging is not due to your tooth issue it is definitely due to some other reason but not due to toothache..
As if it would be due to toothache it would have been on the right ear not the left ear..

Clogging of ear may not always be associated with permanent hearing loss issues.
It can be due to many reasons like..
1. Cold
2.Sinus problem
3.Excessive wax deposit in ear..
4.Air flow blockade in the ear tube called The EUSTACHIAN TUBE.

You can try a few ways to open your ear at home but if nothing goes well you should visit an ENT expert soon..

-If you have cold you can do hot fomentations by holding a Hot water bottle (hot enough to be tolerated) close to your clogged ear for 5 to 10 mins.
It can help to open your ear .

-You can try to open you ear if you have cold by steam inhalation by heating water and adding tea tree oil or eucalyptus oil to it and taking steam by covering your face and the steamer with towel .

-You can do one technique called Valsalva Maneuver to open your ear if air flow blockage is there..
In this technique you should take a deep breath and close your nostrils and close your lips too and take a deep breath.. When you breathe out and nostrils and mouth is closed air pressure will rush to ears and if air flow blockage is there you will hear a popping sound and ear will open up.. Do not blow with excessive pressure as it can damage your ear drum..

-If wax buildup is there you can try to soften up wax and removing it by ear buds by putting few drops of olive oil in it..

If nothing works rush to an ENT doctor..

Hope you get well soon..

Thanks and regards..
