What Causes Bloating And Pain In Rib Cage In A Patient With Gallstones?

I was recently told I have gallstones after having an ultrasound done. For the past three days I have constant pain under my right rib and it is tender and bloated. I have been taking buscopan for the pain but it does not seem to be taking any effect. Is there anything else I can do or will I have to go to the hospital?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Buscopan just relieves the pain temporarly.
I would dvise you to meet a gastroenterologist, who can do a ERCP or a MRCP (tests) an would advise you about the location and the need for surgical management.
It is important as the pain an recur and you may have jaundice if not treated
