What Causes Blister On The Roof Of Mouth After Having Root Canal?

I had root canals done earlier today. I mentioned to the dentist about feeling a bubble/blister on the roof of my mouth. He said sometimes this is normal. I looked in my mouth tonight and it s purple like a blood blister and very sore. I noticed that when I apply pressure with my tounge that a small amount of blood starts to come out of a tiny needle mark. Is this normal??

thank you for posting your query in healthcaremagic.com....

well the sore and the blisters could have appeared due to injury caused to the roof of mouth during the procedure.....your dentist might have given you some painkillers and antibiotics to take....
continue with those....also maintain oral hygiene....and do not press or manipulate with it.....these measures should be sufficient....

hope this was useful.....
contact me for any further queries.....
will be happy to help.....
regards
