General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

While using cortico-steroid inhaler, inhaled drug particles may stick to the mouth and throat causing increased incidence of fungal infections, gum bleeding or bleeding from roof of mouth. This adverse effect can be prevented by gargling your mouth every time after using inhaler. This will ensure removal of drug particles sticking to the mouth and throat.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Saranya Ramadoss, General & Family Physician
