What Causes Bleeding From The Penis During Intercourse?

My son was having sex with a condom just as soon as he was ready to climax he felt some pain and there was some blood in the condom. He went to the bathroom and peed out a little more blood. He said that there is still some burning. Do we need to be concerned.

Hi,

I can understand your concern about seeing blood coming from the penis after sex. This condition is almost always nothing serious, especially if your son is young.

With the burning, however, he may have an infection, possibly an STD, and should at least get a urine test to look for signs of infection.

Until then I would recommend he continue to use a condom in order to protect his partner.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
