What Causes Bleeding After Ultrasound Scan?
hello I am 20 years old, 2 days before because of irregular menstrual cycle I went to my home doctor. He refferd me to gynacologist. The gynacologist asked for US. I said to doctor that I am virgin and I didnt have any sexual activity, so is it safe for me? he said yes, but during US it pain and just after US I had bleeding, when I asked doctor what is this. He said It may be from cercix wall. the blood was kind of pinkish. when I come out from the hospital I refferd back to my home doctor to see wheater my hymen is intact or not? He said it is intact. But I am still not sure is it intact or not ?can you tell me what should I do?? So that I become sure. Because this issue made me restless for 2 days

Irregular menstruation does not need a per vaginal check up especially in a virgin. It can be treated with hormone therapy that regularizes your periods.
Routine investigations could have been done like CBC, Hb%, urinalysis. Sometimes irregular periods occur due to anemia, stress or anxiety.
However, you should not bother about your hymen getting broken or intact. Hymen can be broken while doing stretch exercises, cycling or driving two wheeler, etc.
Stay well nourished, take calcium, iron & protein rich food. Take the medications as prescribed, stay away from stress.
