What Causes Black Strings In The Back Of Throat?

I just had a tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, septoplasty and turbinate reduction. I noticed black string tied in several places in the back of my throat. Dr didn t say anything about this to my husband. I do have splints in my nose. Just not sure what the black string is?

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Read and understood your concerns.
Noted your history of surgeries and the black strings must be the threads of the nasal splints used to pull them out after a few days.
So do not worry.

Anyways the Doctor will check and removes them..
All the best.
Do not blow the nose.
