I am 3 months off a 120mg per day Methadone dose. I went to 16 mg then jumped off. I’m 3 months clean. I was on methadone for 5 years and opiates for 5 years before that. I also had a bad alcohol habit and recently just got off a 6 month cocaine IV binge. Also about a months crystal meth IV binge. I’ve been off all drugs for 2 months and 3 months off methadone. My question is recently I’ve been having black semi hard stools. They have a very strong scent as well. I feel good other than a bit of anxiety and I sweat a lot. Also a few shakes here and there. My mind also had a rough go of it as well. But my focus as thought processing has increased substantially. So I believe I will bounce back to where I was before all this. But Is the black stool concerning? There’s brown in it as well. My appetite is good but my stomach has a weird sensation in it all the time. I thought it was cause I’m hungry but after I eat it seems better. But very a short time afterwards it has that empty weird feeling again. And I feel like o can eat again. I’m wondering if maybe the black stool is just toxins from so many years of build up from the opiates stopping your GI. As well as all the other drugs and bad things I’ve done to my poor body. I’m 180lbs 5 feet 9 inches and 29 yrs old. I’m a male. I was constipated for years so maybe this is finally my body’s chance to heal things and get the toxins out of me? Thanks
