What causes black stool and blood in stool while treating salmonellosis?

I had frank blood on my toilet paper after wiping my rectum the last couple of days and this morning my stool was black but have no pain or discomfort. I have just gone through a severe salmonella poisoning with 2 courses of antibiotics which I will be finished in 5 days. Admittedly I have not felt great for a while with intermittent nausea with no vomiting. I have been taking large doses of probiotics, in the high billions and understand it will take a while for my gut flora to get in balance again. Do I need to go to the doctors due to the blood and dark stool?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, such little staining of blood of stool is just likely in case of any GI infection and with right treatment this will comes to normal one and this is nothing to worry, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
