Hi, I have been doing glycolic peel of 40%, once a month- leave on for a couple of minutes and washed off. I have developed small black spots on my upper cheeks and around the nose and under eyes. I couldn t figure out what was causing it as I used to have a perfect clear skin. I had never done anything to my skin in the past other than regular regime of washing, serum and moisturizing. But, last two years, specially, a year I have developed these scars. I just realized that I was not doing the peel properly or was not doing post peel procedure. I just applied the acid, washed and apply my regular products which have, vitamin C and Retinol. The products are devleoped by Dr. John and brand is Naimon. Please help me and let me know what can be done if anything to get my skin back. I have tried everything and nothing seems to be working. Would continuing with peel and then neutralizing and applying heavy moisturizer for 3 days and nothing else help these scars? I have tried six sessions of yag laser, skin medica products, skinceutrical products. In fact, first I thought, the laser caused these tiny black spots as I didn t have any at the time. But, now I think its the peel and not taking care of it properly afterwards is what caused it as I see more blackness every time I do it. I am East Indian from Ethnicity perspective, and have medium complexion- neither too dark, nor too light. Please help.
