What Causes Black Spot On The Inner Side Of Lower Eyelid?

Blackish spot on inside of lower eyelid. Feels like something in my eye at times like an eye lash other times it doesn't bother me. Have noticed it for quite a few months now. No change in it other than the fact that its really bothering me at the moment...

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have black spot on the inner side of lower eyelid . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like infection like conjunctivitis, allergic conditions, sweat gland or sebaceous gland lesion , but in your case the symptoms seems to be due to sty . The majority of stys can be treated without medical intervention with simple home treatment by applying a warm compress for about 10 to 15 minutes three or four times a day. If it persist then consult ophthalmologist . Doctor may give incision under local anesthesia and prescribe antibiotics to prevent infection .
