What Causes Black Flakes In Stool Despite Being Diagnosed With Medullary Sponge Kidney?

Hello doctors,I was recently diagnose with Medullary Sponge Kidney close to a year ago. My ct came back with bilateral renal calcifications, ranging in 1-3mm. I m in close with my nephrologist, and i am seeing Him every 6 weeks. Past month I past what he believes to be is uric acid stone. I wasn t able to save it but thankfully took a picture of it. That was January 13th. Today is feb 12 and I am passing what looks like black flakes with threads. I ve had moderate flank pains on my right mixed with lower ones as well. I m wondering if this is considered normal for my condition. I have saved a few of the flakes for analysis.
