What Causes Black Eye When Suffering From High Blood Pressure?

I have a sudden black eye below my eye without any trauma occuring. I went for my yearly physical today and all my blood work was normal. I do have high blood pressure and fibromuscular dysplasia of the renal artery. I take meds for blood pressure and the pressure is well controlled. I also follow up on the FMD and all appears normal. I am a 66 year old female of good health. I exercise with yoga and pilates regularly.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, it is not the single reason for blacking of eye but it may be due to systemic disease of blood vassals, it could be due to eye condition it could be due stress (Lack of sleep) it may be due to some blood disorders, it may be due to hormone changes and all of these may needs clinical examination and test, (Skin disease may the reason ) hope this information concern.
