What Causes Black Dots In Vision With History Of Having Vision Floaters?

I had floaters...last year..I am 64...they left me..had eye exam..everything ok...gel leaving back of eye normal eye changes for my age. However this morning and afternoon had a black dot ...not floaters in my peripheral vison..very black and just one...seems different than last years floaters

Floaters in front of eye are usually due to degeneration of vitreous humor. I suggest you to consult your ophthalmologist if the problem is troublesome.
