What Causes Black Dots In The Field Of Vision?

I am a 65 year old male. This weekend I experienced seeing about a dozen black spots in a small area of my field of vision in my right eye only. Hello,

The symptoms are suggestive of retinal detachment and need urgently to be treated possibly with laser the earlier you visit an ophthalmologist the better it would be.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Ashaq Parrey, General & Family Physician
