Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hi,

I can understand what you might be going through. From what you have mentioned, it seems that you might be suffering from depressive episode. Feeling low, crying episodes are symptoms of depression. Many people do feel better on eating more that usual while in depression.

I would also want to explore further regarding your symptom of feeling that others are always talking about you. It might an indicator of psychotic symptom associated with severe depression.

I would suggest you to consult a psychiatrist. You would need treatment with an anti-depressant like sertraline an depending on exploration for psychotic symptoms, an anti-psychotic like risperidone.

Best wishes.
