What Causes Black And White Bumps On The Penis?

It looks like I have black head pimples on the head of my penis. I also have white bumps on the base of the shaft. Occasionally I will have skin pain as well. I was tested for STIs and the results were all negative. Is there something that I can do for the skin irritation and the bumps and blackheads? It seems like vasoline helps the skin irritation. I do shave my pubic hair.

Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

I suggest you consult your dermatologist for clinical assessment of white and black pimples on the shaft of the penis.

Since STDs are negative thus the lesions may be primary skin lesions.

A shave biopsy from few of these lesions may be required to assess the nature of these lesions and thus management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shailja Puri,
